City Venue Management is a facility management company managing Aquatic Centres & Health Clubs stretching from the Gold Coast through to the Sunshine Coast, we currently operate 32 sites across Queensland and continue to grow and develop with each passing day. What you need to succeed:

The right culture fit for our company and people is the most important attribute, along with the following skills:

  • Effective, candid communication skills
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members.
  • The ability to delegate, empower and engage staff.
  • Strong customer service skills and an understanding that the customer experience is paramount
  • An eye for detail and the ability to translate that into action
  • Knowledge of financial management and reporting
  • The ability to self-start and to have the conviction to take responsibility when in charge of the venue
  • Organisational skills and the ability to manage time
  • Ability to ensure the safety, health and well-being of customers
  • Ability to provide a clean well maintained aquatic facility

Essential Qualifications (or willing to obtain)

  • Current Blue Card (Working with children check) or ability to obtain one prior to commencing employment
  • Current First Aid (essential)
  • Current CPR (must be obtained within 6 weeks of starting)
  • Current Pool Lifeguard (must be obtained within 4 weeks of starting)

We have in house trainers to run these courses and provide discounted rates for all employees.
