HR Graduate (Casual/Part-Time – 2 Days per Week)

About the Role

Ever wondered what it’s actually like behind the scenes in HR? At City Venue Management (CVM), no two days are the same. One day you could be helping welcome new team members into the business, the next supporting leadership development programs, staff events, traineeships, or learning initiatives across our venues.

We’re looking for an HR Graduate who’s excited to roll up their sleeves, learn fast, ask questions, and get real hands-on experience in a fun, fast-paced People & Culture team. This is a great opportunity to start your HR career somewhere energetic, supportive, and genuinely people-focused.

You’ll join us in a casual or part-time capacity (2 days per week), working closely with our HR team while gaining exposure across a broad range of HR functions in a growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will generally include:

  • Assisting the HR team with administrative tasks such as data entry, reporting, payroll, and systems administration
  • Supporting recruitment, traineeships, and onboarding activities
  • Supporting CVM’s Learning & Development programs, including training setup, coordination, and project-related tasks
  • Assisting with HR reporting, compliance, and general correspondence
  • Coordinating and supporting HR-related events and special dates, such as recognition initiatives, team engagement activities, wellbeing activities, and staff celebrations
  • Other duties as reasonably directed by your manager

About You

  • Recent graduate (or near completion) in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
