We’re looking for an ambitious and people-focused Fitness Manager to take ownership of the Health Club at Parkinson Aquatic Centre & Health Club.

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership position where you’ll balance team leadership, commercial performance and member experience.

You’ll lead from the front — building strong relationships with members, developing your team in real time, and setting the standard for energy, service and professionalism.

Alongside leading the Health Club, you will:

• Deliver 8 group fitness classes per week
• Spend time on the gym floor supporting members and team
• Undertake Duty Manager shifts as part of the leadership team

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Leading and developing a high-performing team of fitness professionals
• Driving membership growth, retention and overall club performance
• Creating an energetic, welcoming and results-driven culture
• Supporting sales through strong member engagement and community outreach
• Overseeing daily operations including rostering, standards and reporting
• Collaborating with the Facility Manager and wider leadership team

Required Qualifications

• Certificate III & IV in Fitness
• Current First Aid & CPR
• Blue Card (or ability to obtain)
• Lifeguard Qualification (or ability to obtain)
