The Role:

We are looking for a Swim Coach to join our team on a casual basis (approx 25 hours per week), with the opportunity for additional shifts in Swim School, Customer service or lifeguard roles to build to full-time hours. This position offers the successful applicant a unique opportunity to join the Rackley Caloundra coaching team in an organisation committed to developing the sport and actively supporting performance pathways.

What the Role Requires:

• Plan & Implement the program for Junior swimmers.
• Assist in running squad training sessions for swimmers of all levels
• Work closely and collaborate with the Head Coach and coaching team
• Work with the Swim school team to encourage and support the transition between Swimming lessons and Squad training  & Squad Program
• Assist in organising & running Club racing events
• Attend and encourage swimmers to attend club nights and promote joining the Pelican Waters Caloundra SC  to compete in Club and Regional Competitions
• Form relationships with the community, parents and children within the centre. 
• Attend local/national meets. 

Essential Experience & Qualifications:

• Experience in coaching junior swimmers
• Development Coach accreditation
• Current Blue Card
• Current CPR and lifeguard
